Geoffrey Jackson is a Bald Faced Liar
Mr. Jackson is part of a leadership group known as the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses. The GB says they are the only mouthpiece of God on earth and are divinely given the ruler ship of all mankind as the parable directed “faithful and discreet slave”. It is an ultimate poser position of being treated as a God on earth while you claim to be a humble leader of the only true religion. This fantasy of divine support and power seems to crumble when forced to face actual authorities to answer for polices that allow the rape of innocent children. Recently Gerrit Losch a fellow member was summoned for a deposition to answer questions about his role in child molestation. Instead of obeying the “laws of Caesar”, he ran like a coward and refused to cooperate or attend this opportunity to exonerate the actions of the Governing Body by offering clarifying testimony to show their innocence. Losch even denied he was part of the religion as he arrogantly refused to attend and cost the Worldwide Work donation fund thirteen and a half million dollars after being found in contempt for defying a simple court order. Does that seem like a ‘faithful and discreet slave’ to you?
About a year later while on holiday in Australia, Jackson was requested to appear before the Royal Commission as they were doing an investigation of the rampant child abuse that was happening within Jehovah’s Witnesses in Australia. First Mr. Jackson claimed he knew nothing and was not involved with the making of such polices and thus there was no reason for him to attend. When this was proven to be an outright lie, he then claimed his father was sick and he could not leave his side, yet another lie. Finally he had to be subpoenaed to attend, as this would prevent him from leaving the country without being arrested. Geoffrey Jackson was forced to show up and on camera with the entire world watching, would be given the opportunity to defend child rape and prove the JWs innocence.
For any Jehovah’s Witness and exjws it was stunning to see the way this supposed most powerful spirit directed by God man wilted and tried to weasel out of the straight forward questions offered. On several occasions he claimed ignorance of the Bible and lack of memory. Yet the most glaring was when he told outright lies. How could he justify it?
Jehovah’s Witnesses have a teaching called “Theocratic Warfare Doctrine” that allows them to misrepresent or outright lie if they feel the religion is being threatened. When they are confronted with the TWD as part of their beliefs, they will routinely deny that it exists, as that too is part of not being truthful by pretending it does not exist. The nail in their coffin that many miss is their literature. All their doctrines are clearly written out and explained in detail, which exposes not only the truth of matters, but also the fact TWD is practiced down to this day. Read the following material below taken directly from their publications and learn the actual ‘truth’ of what Jehovah’s Witnesses practice and how Mr. Jackson used TWD to lie to the Royal Commission.
"The faithful witness does not commit perjury when testifying. His testimony is not tainted with lies. However, this does not mean that he is under obligation to give full information to those who may want to bring harm to Jehovah's people in some way. The patriarchs Abraham and Isaac withheld facts from some who did not worship Jehovah. (Genesis 12:10-19; 20:1-18; 26:1-10) Rahab of Jericho misdirected the king's men. (Joshua 2:1-7) Jesus Christ himself refrained from divulging total information when doing so would have caused needless harm. (John 7:1-10) He said: "Do not give what is holy to dogs, neither throw your pearls before swine." Why not? So that "they may never . . . turn around and rip you open."—Matthew 7:6." Watchtower 2004 Nov 15 p.28
"Sarai could say that she was Abram’s sister because she really was his half sister. (Genesis 20:12) Furthermore, he was not under obligation to divulge information to people who were not entitled to it. (Matthew 7:6) Faithful servants of God in modern times heed the Bible’s command to be honest. (Hebrews 13:18) They would never, for instance, lie under oath in a court of law. When the physical or spiritual lives of their brothers are at stake, such as in times of persecution or civil distress, however, they heed Jesus’ counsel to be “cautious as serpents and yet innocent as doves.”" Watchtower 2001 Aug 15 p.20
"Of course, being truthful does not mean that we are obligated to divulge all information to anyone who asks it of us. Do not give what is holy to dogs, neither throw your pearls before swine, that they may never ... turn around and rip you open, warned Jesus, at Matthew 7:6. For example, individuals with wicked intent may have no right to know certain things. Christians understand that they are living in a hostile world. Thus, Jesus advised his disciples to be cautious as serpents while remaining innocent as doves. ( Matthew 10:16; John 15:19) Jesus did not always disclose the full truth, especially when revealing all the facts could have brought unnecessary harm to himself or his disciples. Still, even at such times, he did not lie. Instead, he chose either to say nothing or to divert the conversation in another direction."Awake! 2000 Feb 8 p.21
"Jehovah had the land “vomit” those depraved humans out of their territory, using theocratic warfare to have it done. (Leviticus 18:1-30; Deuteronomy 7:1-6, 24) This justifies the spiritual warfare of the Christian today." Watchtower 1986 Sep 1 p.18
"From time to time letters are received asking whether a certain circumstance would justify making an exception to the Christian’s obligation to tell the truth. In reply to these the following is given: God’s Word commands: “Speak truth each of you with his neighbor.” ...
There is one exception, however, that the Christian must ever bear in mind. As a soldier of Christ he is in theocratic warfare and he must exercise added caution when dealing with God’s foes. Thus the Scriptures show that for the purpose of protecting the interests of God’s cause, it is proper to hide the truth from God’s enemies. A Scriptural example of this is that of Rahab the harlot. She hid the Israelite spies because of her faith in their God Jehovah. This she did both by her actions and by her lips. That she had Jehovah’s approval in doing so is seen from James’ commendation of her faith." Watchtower 1960 Jun 1 pp.351,352 Questions From Readers
"We must tell the truth to one who is entitled to know, but if one is not so entitled we may be evasive. ... As a soldier of Christ he is in theocratic warfare and he must exercise added caution when dealing with God's foes. Thus the Scriptures show that for the purpose of protecting the interests of God's cause, it is proper to hide the truth from God's enemies." Watchtower 1960 Jun 1 pp.351-352:
"Today God’s servants are engaged in a warfare, a spiritual, theocratic warfare, a warfare ordered by God against wicked spirit forces and against false teachings. God’s servants are sent forth as sheep among wolves and therefore need to exercise the extreme caution of serpents so as to protect properly the interests of God’s kingdom committed to them. At all times they must be very careful not to divulge any information to the enemy that he could use to hamper the preaching work." Watchtower 1957 May 1 p.286
“While malicious lying is definitely condemned in the Bible, this does not mean that a person is under obligation to divulge truthful information to people who are not entitled to it.
Jesus Christ counseled: “Do not give what is holy to dogs, neither throw your pearls before swine, that they may never trample them under their feet and turn around and rip you open.” (Mt 7:6)
That is why Jesus on certain occasions refrained from giving full information or direct answers to certain questions when doing so could have brought unnecessary harm. (Mt 15:1-6; 21:23-27; John 7:3-10)”
“Evidently the course of Abraham, Isaac, Rahab, and Elisha in misdirecting or in withholding full facts from nonworshipers of Jehovah must be viewed in the same light.—Ge 12:10-19; chap 20; 26:1-10; Jos 2:1-6; Jas 2:25; 2Ki 6:11-23”Insight Book
To just cover one aspect of Mr. Jackson testimony of blatant lies, a key doctrine of Jehovah Witnesses is the belief in corporal punishment. This means beating your children to make them submit to your will. How do we know this? Please review the following quotes from JW literature and see what your conclusions might be:
Watchtower article "Reliable Advice for Raising Children" (w06 11/1 pp. 4-7):
With regard to discipline, the Bible states: “The rod and reproof are what give wisdom.” (Proverbs 29:15) However, not all children need physical punishment. Proverbs 17:10 tells us: “A rebuke works deeper in one having understanding than striking a stupid one a hundred times.”
"The discipline mentioned here does not mean simply physical punishment, though that is necessary on occasion." Watchtower 1979 Apr 1 p.4
“The Bible is clear that discipline includes good teaching and example, but does it exclude spanking? No, for Proverbs 23:13 says: “Do not hold back discipline from the mere boy. In case you beat him with the rod [or hand], he will not die.” Watchtower 1979 May 1 p.30
"A spanking may be a lifesaver to a child, for God’s Word says: “Do not hold back discipline from the mere boy. In case you beat him with the rod, he will not die. With the rod you yourself should beat him, that you may deliver his very soul from Sheol [the grave] itself.” Again, “Foolishness is tied up with the heart of a boy; the rod of discipline is what will remove it far from him.” (Proverbs 23:13, 14; 22:15) If parents hold their children’s life interests dear to them, they will not weakly or carelessly let disciplinary action slip from their hands. Love will motivate them to take action, wisely and fairly, when it is needed." Family Life (1978) p.132

ROD, STAFF
Uses. Rods or staffs were used...to punish children, slaves, or others (Ex 21:20 [“stick,” NW]; Pr 10:13; 23:13, 14; Ac 16:22)
Parental authority.
“Rod” is used also to symbolize the authority of parents over their children.
The book of Proverbs makes many references to this authority, the term symbolizing all forms of discipline used, including the literal rod used for chastisement.
The parent is actually responsible before God to exercise this rod, controlling the child.
If the parent fails in this, he will bring ruination and death to his child and disgrace and God’s disapproval to himself also. (Pr 10:1; 15:20; 17:25; 19:13)
“Foolishness is tied up with the heart of a boy; the rod of discipline is what will remove it far from him.”
“Do not hold back discipline from the mere boy. In case you beat him with the rod, he will not die. With the rod you yourself should beat him, that you may deliver his very soul from Sheol itself.” (Pr 22:15; 23:13, 14)
In fact, “the one holding back his rod is hating his son, but the one loving him is he that does look for him with discipline.”—Pr 13:24; 19:18; 29:15; 1Sa 2:27-36.
"A rod is a symbol of authority. At Proverbs 13:24, it refers to parental authority. In this context, employing the rod of discipline does not necessarily mean spanking a child. Rather, it represents the means of correction, whatever form it may take. In one case, a rebuke kindly given to a child may be sufficient to correct improper behavior. Another child may require a stronger reproof."Watchtower 2004 Jul 15 p.31
"Therefore disciplinary training may also include chastisement or punishment administered with the purpose of correcting the child. But should this form of discipline ever include spanking? Is there truth to the old adage: “Spare the rod and spoil the child”?
Worldly authorities on rearing children frequently say: ‘No, the child should never be spanked. Avoid frustrating the child by using such strong measures to change his natural inclinations.’ A New York Times editorial, April 5, 1972, said: “‘Spare the rod and spoil the child’ is a wrong-headed adage that continues to get approving nods from self-appointed upholders of ‘the old virtues.’ It is difficult to fathom why the administration of premeditated, painful punishment by a bigger and stronger person could instill anything other than the belief that force triumphs.” But is this view correct? Is it a mistake to use physical punishment for the purpose of correcting a child’s wrong course of conduct?
“God is man’s Creator. There is no higher authority. His Word is very clear on the matter. It says: “Do not hold back discipline from the mere boy. In case you beat him with the rod, he will not die. With the rod you yourself should beat him, that you may deliver his very soul from Sheol [the grave] itself.” (Prov. 23:13, 14) The life of the child is at stake. If he is allowed to pursue a wrong course, it will lead to his own unhappiness and eventual death outside God’s favor. Thus the Bible says: “The one holding back his rod is hating his son, but the one loving him is he that does look for him with discipline.” (Prov. 13:24) It shows real love on the part of a parent to do whatever he can to correct his child, including spanking him. This is God’s way. “For whom Jehovah loves,” the scripture says, “he disciplines; in fact, he scourges [whips or lashes] every one whom he receives as a son.”—Heb. 12:5, 6. “
“… The rejection by the world of such disciplinary training is largely responsible for the tremendous increase of juvenile delinquency and the resulting trouble and shame it has brought to parents.—Prov. 29:15." Watchtower 1973 Sep 15 pp.556-557”
Mr. Jackson is one of the GB members that has not had children but as the leader of eight million members it would be impossible for him not to be aware of the long standing rule of using the “rod” to beat your children into submission. Kingdom Halls routinely have a “whipping” room that is more sound proof and used to silence restless children during the two-hour meetings they are required to sit for. If you drive by a Kingdom Hall during the meetings you can often see parents beating their children in the parking lots to punish them for not sitting quiet and still during meetings. JWorg makes cartoon videos telling children God will kill them, if they do not sit still and take notes. As a child I was beat with leather, switches, fly swats, electrical cords, wooden paddles, rods, and even once with a briar limb. All the while my father was the Presiding Overseer and setting the example for the rest of the congregation, many more children were beaten as a result.
So when the Royal Commission of Australia went to the topic of “Corporal Punishment” they already knew the answers and were simply asking GB member to own up to their actual practices of child abuse. The Royal Commission transcript is revealing, as Jackson lies using TWD to show a new Watchtower teaching on corporal punishment that no member has ever heard of and is not written in their publications. The transcript goes as follows:
Q. What is the "discipline of Jehovah"?
A. Your Honor, the original language, discipline, indicates a process of teaching, educating, making a disciple.
Q. Well, from that reference in Ephesians, your Bible takes us back to Proverbs chapter 13, verse 34?
A. Yes.
Q. And the exact quote is: Whoever holds back his rod hates his son. What does that mean?
A. So, your Honor, you will notice there is an asterisk there on the term "rod", and you see the footnote.
Q. Yes.
A. "Discipline or punishment". So in the application of this, the term "rod" is used as a symbol or a metaphor to indicate the authority to give some punishment. For example, in a modern‐day setting, my father could say to me I don't go to the movies because I had broken some of the rules of the home.
Q. So it's not about inflicting corporal punishment, then?
A. It absolutely is not about inflicting corporal punishment.
Q. It would have been when first written, wouldn't it?
A. How people applied it back then, at that time, of course is open to question.
Q. Well, what you are telling me, as I understand it, is that your religion, your church, is prepared to interpret the Bible having regard to contemporary social attitudes and standards; is that right?
A. Obviously, your Honor, we need to take that into consideration, but the primary responsibility we have is to think what does Jehovah God mean by this, and we look at other scriptures. One of the problems that many folk have when they read the Bible is they take one verse and they assume it means something out of context or not in reference to other scriptures. So for our understanding, Jehovah has said that children should be raised in a loving environment. Jesus was raised in such an environment.
Q. Do you accept corporal punishment?
A. No.
Q. You don't?
A. Not ‐ not personally, no, and not as an organization we don't encourage it.
Q. But do you prohibit it?
A. Our literature has pointed out that the true way to discipline children is by educating them, not giving corporal punishment. Your Honor, I can only tell you the spirit behind our writings.
So according to Jackson no children are beaten or spanked they are simply given loving instruction. From the quotes above, we see actual proof TWD continues to be practiced even before authorities and after swearing an oath on the Bible to tell the truth. If a Governing Body member is willing to perjure himself before the court what chance do you think you have in a child abuse or child custody hearing? Jehovah’s Witnesses follow Brother Jackson’s example and bear false witness, destroy evidence to obstruct criminal investigations, hide evidence, press false charges, lie in depositions, lie before the courts, and manufacture false evidence to prevail at all costs to prevent their money, members or pedophiles from being compromised.
Losch and Jackson are just two of the seven members Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses who lead by example and show they are morally and ethically bankrupt while claiming they are God’s messengers on earth. It is somewhat ironic that the Jehovah’s Witnesses refer to their faith as the “truth” while in fact they lie as a way of life to prove their allegiance to a high profit literature publishing company.
Geoffrey Jackson practiced “Theocratic Warfare Doctrine” before the Royal Commission of Australia, as a result, is a bald faced liar, as is anyone associated with Jehovah’s Witnesses. So when these smiling people meet you on the street or at your door with videos they want you to watch remember you are not getting the truth, but instead, you are being manipulated to live their lie.
