Billy J. Bowen

Billy John Bowen, 75, of Hot Springs, passed away Nov. 27, 2011. He was born March 17, 1936, in Tuckerman to the late Cecil C. and Marie (Harvey) Bowen. Billy owned the Rug Doctor in Cape Girardeau, Mo., before moving here in 2005. Billy was always happy with a kind smile for everyone. His love for God, positive attitude and ability to look for the best in everyone made him dear to all who knew him. 

Loving survivors include his wife of 57 years, Brenda Bowen, of Hot Springs; daughter, Melissa Rynn Speeney and husband, John, of Cleveland, Miss.; son, Bill Harvey Bowen, of Nashville, Tennessee; brothers: Cecil Oneal Bowen and wife, Jean, of Monticello; Kenny Bowen and wife, Kathy, of Weiner; Allen Bowen and wife, Sandra, of Tuckerman and Sammy Bowen, of Swifton; sister, Wanda Jackson, of Newport; grandchildren, Brianna MaRynn, Rex Nathanial Bowen and Jessica Marie Bowen; nephew, David Bowen, of Hot Springs; nieces, Patty Withers and Susie Strickland, of Monticello. 

A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 225 Marion Anderson Rd., Hot Springs.
